Some of the wines you will be tasting will include\, Petit Manseng\, Cabernet Franc\, Tannat and Reserve (just to name a few). This event will be hosted in our Barrel Room. \nGuests of our Barrel Tastings will receive exclusive discounts on purchases of the pre-released wines featured at this event. “Future” wines will be available to be picked upon bottling. \nReservations are required to attend a Barrel Tasting session. DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to bring back another year of Effingham Wine University! Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a series of classes\, each focusing on wine education and knowledge. Your favorite University professor\, Frank Reilly\, is back for another exciting semester. \nOur first class of Effingham Wine University is The Big Reds! You will sample a variety of “big red” wines including California Cabernets and Zinfandels to Argentine Malbecs and Italian Amarones. Then of course\, we can’t forget Virginia Tannats and Petit Verdots. \nStudents will receive a small food-appropriate plate to accompany the wines. Not all dietary needs can be accommodated but please let us know if you had any dietary restrictions by emailing jennifer@effinghammanor.com . \n \nThis semester of Effingham Wine University will feature 3 classes. Each class is $60 per person. If you are interested in attending all 3 classes\, please email jennifer@effinghammanor.com. By joining all 3 Winter Semester classes\, you will reserve a discounted admission. Scheduled classes are January 22\, February 19\, and March 19. You can purchase to attend all 3 classes for only $150 per person (tax additional).
