The Wines

We have a wide variety of wines to offer, including our signature wine "King's Ransom". We are extremely proud of all of our wines and they are each wonderful and tasty to the palette. Regardless of whether you prefer red or white, Effingham has several offerings for every wine lover.

In less than two years of operation, Effingham's wines have won over 100 medals, include 50+ golds. Our Kings Ransom was named Red wine of the Year at the Virginia State Fair. Our Rose won 'International Rose of the Year' at Indy, and our Traminette won 'Hybrid of the Year" at the American Wine Society.

Currently we are not offering tastings in the traditional way, but we still want people to experience and sample our wines so they are confident in their purchases.

In the place of traditional tastings, we are offering wine flights. You choose your favorites and we'll pour three 2-oz. servings. Enough to sample, savor and save room for whatever is next.
