After a full meal, what wine best completes the experience? Join our in-house sommelier, Keith Bevins, in the Barrel Room, for an immersive seated tasting that explores after-dinner wines from around the world.

This isn’t your typical “dessert wine” class; we’ll think outside the box and discover a range of digestif-style wines, from rich fortified pours to elegant late-harvest and aromatized styles. Learn how to select the perfect bottle to impress your guests this holiday season and elevate any meal’s finale.

You’ll sample six unique wines — five from renowned regions across the globe and, of course, Effingham Manor’s signature port-style wine, Snort!

Held at 1pm in our Barrel Room, this 60-minute session blends education and entertainment in equal measure. As always, it’s 50 degrees in the barrel room, so dress to enjoy the wine in comfort.
