Murder on the British Express
The British Express, the most elegant train of the 1950s, is bound from Northern England to London when the train comes to a sudden halt. On board are passengers, a mummy, and the renowned detective, Hemlock Holmes. As passengers begin to mysteriously die, the famed detective must walk in the steps of the pharaoh to find a murderer most foul! All aboard!

All guests are encouraged to dress in theme for the mystery, if you are so inclined. You’ll be traveling on a British train in the 1950s. Tickets will include a welcome glass of wine and dinner. Of course, additional wine will be available for purchase.

Doors will open no earlier than 6:30PM
Show begins at 7:15PM

Homemade fresh plum tart with whipped cream (veg)

Plated Vegetarian Entrée (Stuffed portobello mushroom with tomato, basil pesto & mozzarella) available by preorder only.

Seating Notes: Table seating is arranged before the start of the event. If you want to sit with another group, please email the other guests’ names and send to jennifer@effinghammanor.com . Due to the size of this event, guests will be seated with other parties. Tables can hold 6 – 10 guests. The show will be happening all around you, so there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
